GETTING STARTED

How much does it cost to register as a consultant?
1 Year rental and one off invoice $895 NZD+GST

Quarterly payment is $250 NZD+GST every 3 months.

Monthly payment of $100 NZD+GST

Fee includes rental and administration fee paid in advance by Direct Debit via Credit Card.

Are the consultants verified?
We allow consultants to manage their own content, and we encourage them to provide real testimonials and credentials. We recommend that clients independently verify any consultant before engaging in business.
What happens if eConsultants Limited decide not to add my profile?
You will be reimbursed in full for any monies you have paid us within 7 days of us receiving your bank account to return the funds to.
What happens if a customer wishes to contact me?
They will contact you directly. eConsultants Limited does not transact any services between the consultant and the customer. We are just a place to advertise your services and for your customers to find you.
Can my customers add a comment about my services?
Yes just send them your link and ask them to write about how they found your services. To protect you and to protect our common site we will vet their comment and let you know if there are any changes required before we post it for you.

I can’t remember my user name - how can I login?

You can just your email address to login – you can see your username in your profile.

PAYMENTS & BILLING

How do I pay for my consultant profile?
We use Stripe, a secure and trusted payment platform, to process all payments. You can pay using major credit or debit cards during registration or upgrade.
Is my payment information secure?

Yes. Stripe uses industry-standard encryption and security protocols (PCI-DSS compliant) to ensure your payment data is safe. We do not store your credit card information on our servers.

Will I receive a receipt or invoice?

Absolutely. Stripe will automatically send a digital receipt to the email you provide during payment. If you need a formal invoice from eConsultants, please let us know by contacting us at support@econsultants.co.nz.

Is there a recurring charge?

That depends on the plan you choose:

One-time fee: You’ll only be charged once.
Subscription plan: You’ll be billed automatically based on your chosen billing cycle (e.g. annually, quarterly or monthly). You’ll receive reminders ahead of each renewal.

Can I update my payment method?

Yes. If you’re on a subscription, please send an email to support@econsultants.co.nz to let us know you want to update your payment details. We will generate an update link via Stripe and send this to your registered email address.

What if my payment fails?

Stripe will attempt the charge again within a few days. If it continues to fail, we’ll notify you by email and provide options to update your payment information.

Who do I contact for billing support?

You can reach out to our team via support@econsultants.co.nz for any billing-related questions. We’ll respond within 1–2 business days.

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

What happens if I change my mind? Is there a 'cooling off' period?
You have a 5 day ‘cooling off period’ from the date your profile is accepted and posted on the site for public viewing.
How do I cancel within the 5-day cooling-off period?

Our 5-Day Cooling-Off Policy

If you change your mind within 5 calendar days of signing up:

  • Simply email us at support@econsultants.co.nz
  • You’ll receive a confirmation that your request has been received
  • Your subscription will be cancelled within 24 hours of that confirmation
  • All your personal information will be removed from our system
  • You’ll be refunded your subscription payment, less a $50 + GST administration fee
Will I receive a refund if I cancel within the 5-day cooling-off period?

Yes — we’ll refund your subscription payment in full, less a $50 + GST administration fee.

Important: Requests received after the 5-day period will fall under our standard cancellation policy.(what is our standard cancellation policy )

  • There are no refunds for partial subscriptions.
  • After the 5-day cooling-off period, all subscriptions will run their full term.
  • You can request to have your profile taken down at any time, and we will remove all associated information from our files — but no refund will be issued once the cooling-off period has passed.
I changed my mind after buying an annual subscription — can I get a refund?
We understand plans can change. If you contact us within the cooling off period of 5 days of purchase we can offer a full refund less an administration cost of $50 NZD.
Can I cancel my subscription partway through the year?

Yes, you can cancel at any time — but please note that we do not offer partial refunds for unused time. Once cancelled, your page will remain active until your subscription ends, after which all content will be removed.

Can I transfer my subscription to someone else?
No, subscriptions are tied to your individual profile and cannot be transferred or reassigned to another person or business.

If your cancellation request is received after the 5-day cooling-off period, the following terms apply:

  • There are no refunds for partial subscriptions.
  • Your subscription will continue for the full paid term, even if you no longer wish to use the service.
  • You may request to have your profile taken down at any time. All associated information will be removed from our system.
  • However, no refund will be issued once the cooling-off period has passed.

MANAGING YOUR SUBSCRIPTION

How do I maximise my page?
Have a clear photo , a very clear description of what you do in the Bio and be proactive with your business. The site is a landing page to send your customers to give you credibility. Ensure you are updating it regularly and don’t forget to send the link after a job for a great review by your customer.
What happens if I decide to cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription anytime. Please note that once a subscription is cancelled all information regarding that profile will be removed and will not be stored for later use. If you have chosen a monthly subscription and this is unpaid for more than 35 days following your previous months payment this will be considered cancelled and your profile will be removed.
What happens if I decide to stop using the site?

If you choose to stop using the site, your consultant page will be taken offline, and all associated content — including your bio, testimonials, and contact details — will be permanently deleted from our system. This will not trigger a refund if after the 5 days cooling off period. 

Will I be charged after cancellation?
No. Once you cancel, your subscription will end after the current billing period. You won’t be charged again unless you reactivate a new profile in the future.
Do I need to give notice before cancelling?

No notice period is required. However, we recommend cancelling at least 48 hours before your next billing date to ensure no new charges are applied.

Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes. You can cancel at any time by contacting us at support@econsultants.co.nz. Your profile will remain active until the end of your current billing cycle — no refunds for partial months. We can delete your profile during the billing cycle if you choose i.e. if you change your career and no longer wish to have a profile, however this will not trigger a refund if after the 5 days cooling off period.
How do I stop my payments?
Simply contact our support team or use the cancellation link in your account or confirmation email. Your billing will stop immediately, and your page will be removed at the end of your current billing cycle.

PAUSING OR REACTIVATING

Can I pause my account instead of cancelling?
At this time, we do not offer a pause feature. If you’d like to retain your page, we recommend maintaining your subscription to avoid losing your content.
Can I pause my page instead of deleting it?
Currently, we do not offer a “pause” option. If you wish to retain your consultant page, ongoing payment is required. Once cancelled, all content is removed and cannot be recovered.
What if I cancel my profile but change my mind?

If you’ve cancelled but your billing cycle hasn’t ended yet, your profile may still be active. Contact us right away, and we can reactivate your profile without needing to start over.

However, once your billing cycle ends and your page is removed, we cannot recover your data, as we don’t store information after cancellation. You would need to create a new profile from scratch.

What if I change my mind during sign-up?

If you haven’t submitted payment or published your page yet, you can exit the process at any time. If you’ve paid but haven’t gone live, there is a 5 day colling off period where you can request a refund by emailing us at support@econsultants.co.nz.

What if I want to reactivate later in the year?
You’re welcome to return at any time during your active subscription period — just reach out, and we can help reactivate your page. However, once your subscription ends and your page is deleted, you’d need to purchase a new subscription and start fresh.
Can I recover my profile later?

We do not store profile data after cancellation, so any future return to the platform will require a new setup.

Will my information be saved if I cancel?

No. In line with our privacy policy and platform design, we do not retain your data once your subscription ends or your page is deactivated. If you wish to return later, you would need to start a new profile from scratch.

You can browse through our directory of consultants by industry or specialty. Each consultant has a dedicated page with their background, testimonials, and contact information.
How do I contact a Consultant?

Simply find the consultant you wish to enquire the services of and click on their email or phone directly. If you have any questions at all regarding the site and services of eConsultants Limited please contact us on support@econsultants.co.nz

Does this site handle bookings or payments?
No — we do not process transactions or manage bookings. All work is arranged and agreed upon directly between clients and consultants.
